Governor signs bill extending alcohol sales hours. Municpalities can take action and retain previous hours of sales

Today the Governor will sign AB 63 into law, making it legal to sell alcohol beginning at 6am at Class A retailers around the state such as grocery stores, gas stations and convenience stores. Municipalities are able to pass a local ordinance retaining current sale hours which begin at 8am. Contact your local elected officials and ask them to take action and retain current sale hours. Doing so will lessen the availability of alcohol in an effort to keep your community safe! Contact us for more information.
